Bruce Jerome Barrow, Jr. (affectionately known as Jerry), passed away on September 23, 2024 in Trinity, FL, at the age of 73. He was born on November 6, 1950 in Tampa, FL, to his parents Bruce Jerome Barrow, Sr. and Bobbie Lee Drury.
Jerry graduated from Brandon High School. After graduating he attended Hillsborough Community College with plans to major in Animal Husbandry. Having several part time jobs along the way he ended up landing a job with General Telephone Co. as a lineman.
A few years later he joined IBEW Local 915 Electrical Union working his way to be a Journeyman which took him to many cities across the United States. The last years with the Union he was the Assistant Business Manager and Dispatcher of Local 915 based in Tampa Florida and retired after 50+ years of service.
He enjoyed hunting, archery, fishing and skeet shooting.
Jerry was a great man, who dearly loved his daughters, grandchildren and family. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce J. Barrow, Sr. and by his mother, Bobbie Lee Drury.
Jerry leaves his daughters Brittany, Brianne and Blair, as well as his grandsons, Parker, Austin and Atlas. Also, his sisters Debbie Burns, Beverly Prewitt and Betty-Jo Powell; his nephews Ronnie Coram, Andy Phelps and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his legacy.
